This self-contained, 15-minute supply eyewash station is meticulously designed to meet ANSI Z358.1 requirements for eyewash solutions.
The Aquarion® Self-Contained Eyewash, part of the AQ100 series, boasts a sleek and slim design, making it perfect for installation in tight spaces such as hallways, columns, shelves, or carts. Fast and simple installation requires only one person, and it can be securely mounted on various structural supports.
What sets the Aquarion® apart is its groundbreaking sealed flexible cartridge, which completely self-evacuates without the need for external forces. This ingenious design ensures reliable performance precisely when you need it most. It's the ultimate choice when access to plumbed, potable water is limited.
Key Features:
Cover: Yellow ABS construction safeguards fluid bags and the station's internal cavity. Side windows enable visual inspection of the fluid bags without cover removal.
Back Plate: Made of polycarbonate, the back plate supports the eyewash station with filled cartridges. Mounting slots are spaced for easy installation on wall studs between 12 and 20 inches apart or other suitable structural support.
Tray & Nozzles: The retracting tray shields the nozzles from environmental factors. A single pull-down motion pierces seals in the hoses, allowing fluid to flow immediately from the attached nozzles. The tray also collects spent fluid and directs it to an integral drain port for future disposal. A usage indicator tie breaks upon actuation, indicating unit usage. A tray stop prevents easy repositioning without servicing. Enclosed ABS plastic heads connect to the retracting tray and deliver a non-injurious dual stream of water at 0.4 gpm (1.5 lpm).
Base: The black ABS base slides onto the back plate and holds the nozzle tray upright, ready for use. It provides structural support to the station and is secured through retaining hooks and self-threading bolts.
Fluid Bags: Self-evacuating flexible bags ensure the flushing fluid remains fresh and clean, offering reliable performance and maintenance-free service.
