All containment suits must be inspected at specific intervals and in accordance with very strict procedures to comply with applicable standards. This is necessary to ensure the safety of workers using these suits. We offer this service through our Fire Division. The testing of clothing is important to ensure that clothing is in good condition. A first test must be carried out immediately following receipt to ensure that it has not been damaged during transport. A test must also be carried out before the clothing is worn. Contaminated, damaged or broken Tychem^® clothing must not be used. Annual testing is recommended for any clothing kept in storage.
